Walt Schumm builds homes to fit nearly any budget, from $200s to $1M+ in Oldham County and its surrounding areas. We can custom build on your land or ours, or can
help you find the perfect location.
Currently, we have access to available 1-5 acre lots in well planned subdivisions,
as well as rural pieces of estate land. Or, if something smaller is your idea of perfection, we feature available patio homes which receive the same attention to detail and
customer satisfaction.
A variety of plans are available, or start from scratch with a custom build.

The Registered Builder certification through the Home Builders Association of Louisville (HBAL) is not just a marketing tool any builder can purchase and use to advertise their business. Builders must apply for, be interviewed, and be approved as an official Professional Builder who practices a strict code of ethics. Walt Schumm has been a Registered Builder since 1999 and as a part of the requirements, particpates in 6 hours of continuing education every year. The Home Builders Association of Louisville keeps a close eye on its Registered Builders, monitoring the use of fair contracts and overseeing any complaints and resolutions.
